19th - 21st June 2019 (3 Days)
A day of glamour, glitz and fizz!
What is now known as Royal Ascot started to take shape when The Gold Cup was first run in 1807. It is Ascot’s oldest surviving race. The winning owners still receive a gold trophy to keep.
The Thursday of the race meeting is colloquially known as ‘Ladies’ Day,’ a term first used in 1823, when an anonymous poet described the Thursday of the Royal Meeting as "Ladies’ Day … when the women, like angels, look sweetly divine."
Our coach will take you to Ascot and collect you at the end of the races, escorting you back to the hotel where you can take advantage of the pool, spa and sauna facilities to end your day in style!
